The KGI’s closed body design utilizes a replaceable, urethane liner and together with the one-piece gland seal eliminates discharge to the environment. The liner completely isolates the body of the valve from the abrasive or corrosive pipeline media, allowing it to be constructed from standard and recyclable materials.
As the KGI is a true rotable valve, many of its components are reused, negating the need for a completely new valve and reducing the associated carbon emissions.
